I was always active as a kid and enjoyed playing volleyball early. During highschool and university I didn’t prioritize sports and started to feel it as I got older – upper back pain, migraines, etc. But I simply couldn’t get myself to exercise, it felt like torture, definitely not like fun.
About 4 years ago I started doing yoga to find some balance next to work. However, an important element was missing – MUSIC! When I discovered spinning about 2 years ago, I really got into it and would use every opportunity to get on the bike. As our life shifted from outdoors to mainly indoors I found T&T and got addicted right away. Because I wanted to find out more about the techniques and the anatomy of Pilates, I started an instructor training in 2020 and became an official Pilates instructor in October 2021.
Working out means taking time for myself. It’s my way of clearing my head after a stressful day or waking up and starting my day energized. It also means feeling stronger after every workout – physically and mentally! Working out has become such a big part of my life, that I feel tired and moody, if I go one day without any exercise (and sometimes really just 15 minutes will do).
T&T takes working out to the next level for me. It’s not just exercise, most of the time I feel like dancing. The musical element motivates me to push myself to my limits. T&T even made and still makes me get up voluntarily at 6 am – even during holidays 😅
That’s a really tough question for somebody who owns over 35 cook books at home. Either at home or eating out I would always say yes to oriental cuisine and in the sweet section anything with vanilla!
If I’m not working out, I am working for an online marketing agency, cooking at home, eating out with friends and family, watching series, etc. But two things I absolutely love are listening to – mainly house – music (and discovering new music) and TRAVELING 🌍
